| Summer road trip 2018 started out with us driving to Allen, TX to attend Sarah’s graduation. The next morning, we flew to Phoenix, AZ, rented a car and drove to Sedona where we had the pleasure of attending Phil and Liz’s wedding. From there we drove north to the Grand Canyon and spent one night at the El Tovar hotel overlooking the canyon. We spent the next morning hiking the rim before departing for Moab, Utah choosing a route that would take us through Monument Valley. The next morning, we speed-toured Arches National Park before departing for Logan, Utah where we toured Utah State University. From there, we drove east through Wyoming and back down to Fort Collins, CO where we toured Colorado State University before flying home from Denver. Lots of driving through lots of beautiful country… 1,992 miles on the rental car to be exact. |
